Monday, August 2 marks the beginning of the 1999/2000 athletic ad sales campaign. Students involved in any COS Athletics programs are expected to raise specific amounts of revenue in selling ads to area businesses to help offset the costs of operating our sports programs. A major change from other years is there will only be one ad sales campaign for the entire year. Businesses who choose to advertise in our media guide will have 6-months worth of coverage at all of our home games!

Volleyball camps are already underway at Coach Czapla's home. Basketball camps are just around the corner starting the first two weeks of August. Contact Coach Brasher and Coach Horridge for more details.

On Monday, August 2, at 7:00 PM a special meeting will take place at the Linn Haitz Educational Building for parents of 5th and 6th grade students to address the proposed re-alignment of these two grade levels. Please contact the school office for more information.

Parent Orientation meeting is Monday, August 16, at 7:00 PM, in the Chapel. All families should have at least one representative in attendance as Parent Handbooks will be distributed and associated changes will be discussed. There will also be an opportunity for parents to meet their child's new teacher following the meeting and to tour the new administrative office location. We will also be introducing the COS Little Lambs Preschool/Extended Care program.

Important Information!!!

Praise the Lord for the generous donation of both labor and finances to help us carpet and repaint the entire upstairs area of the Linn Haitz Educational Facility. Drop by and see what the Lord has done for us as the administrative offices, K5 classroom, reception area and counseling room join the Home Economics sewing department in their new location.

A special thanks to George Heil for his efforts in coordinating the phone installation efforts so that the church, the school and the administrative offices may all maintain effective communication.
